← Bench notes 23 July 2026 From the bench Same automata, now on a motor instead of the hand crank. It goes at a super fast speed. The crank is more dignified. This is more fun. Newer First real pixels off the panel. It's an LED matrix run by a little ESP32, and watching an actual picture light up on it does not get old. Older My first automata. It's an old Zelda print, an Octorok, that I finally painted, riding a cam I made by animating the motion in Blender and printing the curve.
